Torre Glòries is one of the most emblematic buildings of Barcelona and has become an architectural icon of the city. Designed by the french famous architect Jean Nouvel and b720 Fermín Vázquez Arquitectos, Torre Glòries is the most iconic tower of Barcelona’s skyline, and the only one that it is illuminated at night. The tower represents a geyser that rises from the ground and points to the sky with its glass dome.

The tower first opening date was 16th September 2005 as a corporative building for Aguas de Barcelona company. The observation deck opening date was 20nd May 2022.

Unique features of the Tower.

J. Nouvel was inspired by the world renowed Catalan architect and designer, Antonio Gaudí, and by the concept of water geyser’s and it is located just at 10-minute walk from Gaudi’s masterpiece, Sagrada Familia.
