The Shard, London’s iconic landmark, shines brighter this festive season with an enchanting spire light show, a collaboration between The London School of Mosaic (LSoM) and The Shard. This dazzling display graces the top 20 floors, radiating vibrant colors nightly from 5 PM until New Year’s Eve, visible across 40 miles.
Three mosaic-inspired designs, including “The Shard Snowman,” “Festive Candle,” and “Festive Pattern,” adorn the skyline. The LSoM transformed hand-drawn concepts into physical mosaics during a workshop, partnering with lighting designers to create unique sequences for The Shard’s spire.
Part of a broader partnership, this festive endeavor extends to sponsoring a mural, “A Thousand Streams,” outside The Shard, echoing the city’s vibrant essence.
