Tower Story

Tehran Milad Tower (TMT), the new Iranian Iconic center for Art, culture and merging civilization. TMT was built with a height of 435 meters as an illustration of world significant structure in metropolis TV television and telecommunication tower. TMT was designed with several sections for various purposes, which has turned into one of the greatest artistic and social center in the Islamic republic of Iran. The tower includes foundation, tower foot Building (lobby), shaft structure, head structure and television telecommunications antennas. Tower approximate weight is about 150 thousand tons; maximum diameter of the head structure is 60 meters at 280 meters level. The total volume of concrete used in this structure is about 63 thousand cubic meters including 17 thousand square meters of glass installed. The register of the tower is used to facilitate and expansion of wireless communications for greater Tehran. TMT optimize and expands the coverage of radio and television (VHF/UHF/FM), to deliver digital television infrastructure (DVB/MVDS), supports traffic control, including meteorology and source of tourism attraction. Tehran Milad tower is truly a dream has came true.
