Tower Story
Torre de Collserola is a telecommunications tower, located in the Collserolla mountain range in Barcelona, which runs parallel to the Mediterranean Sea. The site of the Tower, Turó de la Vilana is 445 m above sea level and the construction rises a further 268 m. from this height. This is a unique space that offers an unbeatable location and radio coverage, with facilities designed to guarantee the functionality of telecommunications equipment. The Tower offers infrastructural services serving external clients, telecommunications industry businesses and a range of companies that require the best technical and security conditions
Observation Deck
The Observatory is sited on the tenth platform, 560 m. above level sea, affording excellent views taking in the city and its environs, the Mediterranean Sea, Montserrat mountains, Pyrinnes, up to distances of over 70 KM. The Observatory Deck is reached from inside the mountain by means of an elevator which travels up the outside of the concrete shaft. The elevator is glazed to permit panoramic viewing, and its speed of one meter per second takes the public to the observatory in 2,5 minutes
